Reverse charcoal drawing

In this 2-hour drawing session, participants will explore the art of charcoal drawing through two experiences. In the first half, we will observe and sketch objects from our immediate surroundings, building foundational skills in capturing texture, light, and form. In the second half, participants will draw from a live model to experience sitting opposite another person and truly observing them. This portion is less about technical skill and more about the process of studying and connecting with the subject, while applying insights gained during the first half.
